i was born in 1984 in former
czechoslovakia (central europe). i
was interested into computers since child. my
first computer was didaktik m with whole 16kb rom and 48kb ram.
as you can imagine, my life started
way too long before the first real 3d cg picture was made.
i was introduced to computer graphics
during my study on high school in poprad.
there were no classes for computer
graphics, so i started to learn on my own. i
had plenty of dissapointments, but i
held on and i worked my self to
proffesional.
during my study on brno university of technology i joined a little group of graphic fans and artist, where we learned from each other, but generally trained by now my good friends astil and loocas. they taugh me the concept of mesh-flow and many more. for that i’m very grateful to them.
in 2006 i achieved bachelor’s degree in field of information technology. during this study i had few interesting modules included, like physics, computer graphics principle (technical part, so now i can understand not only visual, but technical part of the problem too), web page design etc.
in 2009 i finally managed to achieve master’s degree in field of computer graphics and multimedia. master’s degree programme was far more interesting and of course even tougher. besides many boring modules i had some very interesting and inspirative. these modules are: computer graphics, image processing, multimedia, physical optics, advanced computer graphics, graphical and sound interfaces and standards, computer vision, computer art, visualization and cad. as you can see, there is no technical stuff, that can scare me off. i finished my studies with master’s thesis, that concerns about modeling of realistic human character. you can find it in the artworks section.
during study of master’s degree i worked in aaa game company illusion softworks (most famous title is mafia) as a character modeller. there i become top notch character modeller. of course i further developed my skills in technical modelling too, because making of charaters still needs modelling of plenty technical stuff. besides of working for illusion softworks (now 2kczech), i worked on plenty projects involved modelling, sculpting, mapping, texturing, skinning crunching, rendering etc.
right now i’m freelancer and i’m looking forward to work with you on some interesting project of yours ;)
